Overlooking Laura's garden stood a magnificent windmill. The garden raised on top of a hill with stunning views over Buckinghamshire, proved to be a challenging situation for a marquee. We built a dining and dancing marquee raised 2m high with a balcony overlooking the lower garden. The perfect spot for their celebrant led ceremony and champagne reception. This day was all about the music. The Big C Choir performed during the service, a friend sang and the Blue Lion Band entertained during drinks and ensured the dancefloor was never empty. The wedding was full of personal touches that meant so much to Laura and Harry, Paddington Bear kept popping up throughout the styling and McDonalds provided the late night feast. An overnight quick clean and one rapid transformation later, the steel band were ready to go as guests arrived for lunch, cake cutting and speeches. When you have a marquee this impressive in your garden and so many friends you cant possibly fit them all in, a second day of celebrating with family friends was definitely in order.
